We are a team of 10 SEO consultants passionate about growing our clients businesses through our digital marketing experience. We’re constantly staying ahead of the curve with regards to best practise across digital marketing and frequently upskill each other through our own learning!
How It All Started
We started back in 2019 with just our founder Mike, and a few years later we’ve grown to a team of 10!

Charlie joins the team
In December 2019, Charlie joins as the businesses first employee. From apprentice, Charlie now manages the team and some of our key accounts!

Meet the Team
Michael Ryan,Founder & CEO
Mike has been in SEO since he left school! Starting off as an apprentice and then moving into management. He now heads up the agency here at Ink.
John Hutson, Head of SEO
John started in Digital Marketing in 2003, with the majority of that time focussing on SEO, working across many sectors and geographies. He now heads up the SEO department at Ink and leads our HubSpot Partner offering.
Charlie Clayton, SEO Manager
Charlie joined the company as their first hire almost 4 years ago. He has since moved from apprentice to executive to SEO Manager, learning SEO and team management skills on the job.
Kasey Wilkinson,SEO Manager
Kasey has three years of experience within SEO, and has worked her way up from apprentice to SEO manager. She builds in-depth strategies for her clients across a range of industries, with a particular interest in fashion and travel.
Jamie Beastall,Senior SEO Account Manager
Jamie brings nine years of experience in SEO to the table, having begun as an apprentice and steadily advancing to the Senior Level. His expertise spans across various industries, including luxury, where he has honed his skills in crafting effective SEO strategies.
Tony Morgan, Senior Account Manager
Tony has been in the digital space for over 20 years creating Search Engine Optimised websites and applications. Recognising how rewarding a successful SEO campaign can be, Tony made the switch to full time SEO several years ago bringing a wealth of technical knowledge with him.
Max Marshall, SEO Executive
Max has over a years experience working within SEO with a focus on technical SEO and data analytics. He supports the team wherever needed, and is always pushing his clients campaigns forward to the next step.
Melanie Goldring, SEO Executive
Mel has a few years of SEO experience under her belt and specialises in content. She builds out in depth strategies to ensure she obtains the best results for her clients.
Sam Backhouse, Digital Marketing Executive
A newcomer to the digital marketing landscape, Sam brings just under a year of experience to Ink Digital. Infusing his work with a blend of passion and eagerness to learn, he actively assists clients across various campaigns and deliverables.
Isabella Howells,Junior Content Writer
Izzy is a skilled junior content writer at Ink Digital, specialising in crafting SEO-optimised content to drive engagement and boost rankings. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling, Izzy turns ideas into compelling narratives.
